Franklin Theatre -Franklin TN
In 1937, Franklin witnessed the first illumination of the marquee on Main Street. Over the next seventy years, the theatre stood as a testament to a simpler life. The venerable movie house closed its doors in 2007 under pressure of rising rental rates and mega screen theaters.
The non profit Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County stepped in to rehabilitate the historic landmark.
Eight million dollars later, the theatre shows movies, has many live performances, concerts, and and all with state of the art sound and lighting systems.
I have hand crafted a ceramic reproduction of the Theatre. Each approx.6″X8″ plaque is ready to hang on your wall. As each is an original, no two are exactly alike. I have signed and numbered each one. They are all hand glazed and kiln fired twice.
I welcome your questions, comments, and suggestions. If you are interested in a “one of a kind” replica of your home or any place special to you, please contact me.
